Endoscopic ultrasound guided hepaticogastrostomy (EUS HGS)
- 52 yr female with obstructive jaundice due to pancreatic head mass lesion (metastasis) with complete duodenal obstruction.
- Patient had distal gastrectomy due to carcinoma stomach and gastro jejunostomy
- Enteroscopy assisted ERCP failed.
- Hence Endoscopic ultrasound guided trans gastric metal stent placed into left lobe bile duct leading to releif on jaundice
- EUS procedure is better than PTBD and leads to internal drainage of bile
